i just recalled something from my past that i've not thought about in a very long time, but it did have a significant impact on me whether i knew it or not at the time....... i have a sister who was born when i was 15. my family are not jw's thank the universe!
but me as an uberdub at the time convinced my young sister to have a study.
she was about 14 or 15 at the time i'd guess.
Upon reading the article in the Watchtower of November 1995 (?) about the elongating of the 'generation' count, I became wide awake. However, my family ties are so strong and they all are such JW heavies/hardcore that since then I've been confined to 'spiritual jail' inside the WTBTS in order to keep peace and togetherness.
It's a high emotional price to pay. Living a lie is at times unbearable, and the older I become, the more it bothers me to live this way.

urghhh... what a disgusting study!7 a conflict of loyalties may arise when a close relative is disfellowshipped.
for example, a sister named anne received a telephone call from her disfellowshipped mother.
the mother wanted to visit anne because she felt pained by her isolation from the family.
The cherry-picking of the scriptures inside the WTBTS is sickening and heartbreaking.

after i retired i volunteered for several community service programs, including working with the local food bank.
every fourth thursday of each month i help out in distributing food to needy families at the local veterans building.
i've been helping out for five years now.
The WTBTS aims to occupy all the time any one JW has available. That some of them break away to do some real actual 'good' in society is commending, but definitely an act of rebellion against the Org.
Believe you me, if one was do every single thing required of a true JW, one would need to add hours to each day. These jerks just pile up so much for a JW to do in order to feel at peace in the mind.
It's just ridiculous!

ALL type of things happen within the WTBTS; lead by and filled with ALL imperfect people, nothing that happens there should be surprising whatsoever.
Rumor has it of young couples in the Spanish congs around here exchanging spouses and horrible entanglements relating to who the real father is for certain of the ladies in the ring who became pregnant, which lead to big cover-ups.
Pure evidence that no crazy religious belief can counter our sinful, sexual, imperfect human condition.

Broke my heart to read that paragraph where the mother called the daughter because she was lonely and wanted to visit, then the daughter turned her down and asked her to return to the Org.
This Org is a big time liar!!! They printed on their website that they do not divide families, that they do not shun; then, what is this display of pure evil, abandoning one's parent, a person that according to the Bible we are suppose to honor and care for in their old age???!!!
The WTBTS is a big time liar and a cruel, cruel, family divider organization!!!
I go so upset that just sat there most of the study and refused to comment on any of it. There are some other study gems coming up on baptism and getting them baptized as soon as possible; I plan on missing those meeting altogether. Can't stand it much longer at this point!
